Where oh where… is my Vitakey License key?

I received my Flybook V5 back in October of ‘07. It came with three “Product  Disks” (CDs) in a slick black folio. The Vitakey “Register No.” is on the back of the folio. It is a standard license key: five sets of five-characters (numbers and letters) separated by dashes.

However, Sakkie reports that this is no longer the case. Sakkie did find what looks like a license key on the paperwork that accompanied the V5 (paperwork? there was paperwork?) but that it isn’t identified as being specifically for Vitakey.

Anyone? Anyone?

Egistec, if you are listening: Really dorky that you can’t see the License Key in the “About” dialogue box, especially as you require the existing version to be removed before you can install an updated version (and it can’t remember the License key?).

Only slightly off-topic: I’m fairly careful with my V5, but the bottom of it does get set down in all sorts of conditions. I just noticed today that most of the Windows Vista label on the bottom is illegible. I can still make out the license key, although it is slowly rubbing away as well. I decided today to scribble it down somewhere because as far as I know, this isn’t recorded anywhere else; if my drive crashed I could be flailing about.
