I submitted the following “Q&A” Service Request to Flybook.com.tw Members’ Club:
When the new Vitakey driver came out (2007-10-31), I installed it. Now I keep getting “Pwdbank.exe has stopped working” errors. Even stopping the pwdbank processes does not make the error go away (it keeps popping up). I have had to disable the pwdbank entirely in Vitakey System Settings. It appears that others are having the same problem. Do I need to reinstall the drivers that came with my machine or is there another fix to this issue?
I’m guessing the answer is “yes” but I’m hoping they look into it. I will post any response I receive.
Update 2007-12-25 (yes, Christmas)
BTW, I *was* contacted initially by Philip from Flybook as to which driver I was using (we’ll kindly ignore the part where I included the driver date in my service request). I responded with the actual build number and have not heard back. However… I have also stopped having the issue (??). Who knows. I haven’t had to register any username/password since then either, so maybe I should test that out (to see if registering one sets off the pwdbank error). I’ll let you know next time I’m on (right now I’m about to make some homemade bread for dinner this afternoon).
Update 2007-12-28
Nope, can’t make the error happen no matter what. Happy, but clueless.
